Promotional: Nitroglycerin & A Change Of Artist on Cthulhu Tales

Birdie's been on a roll lately, turning in stuff that requires no sort of "Hey, can you..." from me before putting it up on the web. I hate that. It makes me feel almost useless.
Speaking of BOOM!, the artist on my Cthulhu Tales: The Rising (order code OCT063248) story has changed. Kristian Donaldson overbooked himself and had to stick with the people that got hold of him first, so he won't be drawing "The Arts Of Noise" for the volume. Instead, you know, I'm stuck with Joe Abraham, whose work on Hero Squared I've repeatedly stated my love for. While I really, really want to work with Kristian in the future (I'm going to beg Mein Editor to keep his number in the rolodex), Joe's a more-than-acceptable substitute and our conversation last night indicated that we're going to get along splendidly.
Also, he's very handsome.

Now that all those printing delays are sorted out, X-Isle #3 comes out this week from BOOM! | Birdie's WebcomicsNation page | A reminder that the What Were They Thinking?!? book with three stories by me comes out soon.

Peter Bagge's done an excellent comic about immigration policies for Reason. My favorite bit involves the Protest Junkies that glom onto any and all marches, but the entire thing is beautiful.
I'm poaching this from Dirk Deppey, who poached it from Drawn!: take a look at Kevin Dalton's rather gorgeous art. Reminds me of Tara McPherson without the too-cute goth thing that tweaks some nerve inside of me.
