Announcing AskCerebra.com

Cerebra is live. That's right - I took my three-day-old Comics Blog Search Engine and spun it off into its own site. The reasoning for this is twofold:
  • First of all, I didn't want it to look like I was skewing the results in any way with bias. Outside of opting to remove BoingBoing (which was #1 in a non-relevant manner for way, way too many terms thanks to its high Google pagerank), I've been dedicated to making sure that all comics blogs get added, even if they aren't to my taste. (That's probably why we're at 429 included sites, huh?) Having it hosted on my site seemed a bit more egotistical than necessary, even for me.
  • The name "Cerebra" is awesome and should be used as much as possible. I was toying with Cerebro until Bahlactus (who's reading my Morrison New X-Men hardcovers) brought up the supercomputer/plot device's twin sister. How could I resist?

I do have plans on some functionality improvements, so make sure you check back often.
