Yay! I made Photo of the Day at Bostonist.com. As I aim a camera and snap photos pretty often, I'm naturally a bit chuffed at this. However, after a moment or two of cubicle dancing, I realized something: they've altered my photo without asking me, desaturating the colors and making the entire thing look much duller than what I originally posted.
For easy comparison, here's a 500px wide version of my original photo:
And here's a 500px wide version of what Bostonist ran:
If I had been informed of this change, I wouldn't have let the photo run. I'm very disappointed in Bostonist for the presumptuous way in which they tampered with my work.
