On my way to New York...

...for the Comic-Con (or is it Comic Con or ComiCon or ComicCon?) and I've already run afoul of Zee Law, who informed me that taking pictures in Boston's South Station is illegal. I'm fairly sure this is a nudging of my rights, but since I never bothered to read up on these things, I'm just going to nod and smile and thank god the government is looking out for fat guys with wide-angle lenses.

Apparently, my allergies are a massive concern to the MBTA and Amtrak. From where I stand waiting for 2159 to get called, I can see more than twenty ads for Claritin in the form of banners, signs, and video displays.

As you've figured out, I'm taking the train this time, an 800% more expensive way to get to The City than the usual Cheap And Possibly Dangerous Bus, but I've been assured that business class on Acela is akin to having angels gently loft you to your destination while Glenn Gould performs a particularly challenging piece just for you. If this has been exaggerated, there will be sanctions against this mode of transport's proponents. That's drinkin' fundage I'm spending, people.

I'll try to update like this from the con every few hours. Probably stream-of-consciousness crap that'll require heavy editing later, but LIVEBLOGGING IS THE NEW and all that.
