I’ve been helping the team from BOOM! studios put together the Americanization of this French Star Wars parody for their kid’s line. It’s been an interesting process, to say the least, what with cultural differences and the genuine desire on my editor’s part to do something other than a dry translation that doesn’t hit the mark with kids. Anyway, it’s available in the April Previews and has the order code APR110907. It should be out in July. Here’s the first ten pages.

Because comics do exactly this sort of thing better than any other medium, and this sort of thing is at the heart of what makes Batman: Year One seminal.
