A YEAR OF GIVEAWAYS: A Ton Of Spider-Man Hardcovers
178 Comments | Posted: January 11th, 2010 | Filed under: Contests | Tags: spider-manFirst of all, we should get the winner of last week’s giveaway, Jacques Tardi’s West Coast Blues out of the way. Of the forty-seven comments I got on that post, the winner (according to Random.org) is Isaac from Satisfactory Comics! For once, I’m going to leave the Agreeable Comics/Satisfactory Comics rap feud behind me and offer Isaac a healthy congratulations!
Now, for this week’s giveaway, we’ve got a doozy. Many comic readers began to wail and gnash upon hearing about Joe Quesada’s idea for Spider-Man: get rid of the marriage and return Peter Parker to the status quo that the general public understands him to have and while One More Day’s execution left an awful lot to to be desired, I’ve actually very much enjoyed the Spider-Man comics that have been written in its week: brief storylines of one to six issues (and since it’s published three-times-a-month, that’s two months at most for readers to get an entire story) with attendant b-stories and background arcs that weave in and out of the main arcs remarkably well for something that’s the product of a large writing team. There’s a few clunkers, honestly, (I wasn’t crazy about American Son for instance,) but overall, it’s been a really decent run that’s made me realize how much I like Peter Parker all over again. The problem with having a dozen recent hardcover Spider-Man collections is that I’m not very likely to re-read a dozen recent hardcover Spider-Man collections anytime soon and I need to reclaim the shelf space for my bound volumes of Rescue Rangers fan fiction. That’s why I’m giving away the twelve Premiere Hardcovers issued so far for the post-Brand New Day Spider-Man. Here’s what they look like:

Now, how do you win these books? Just leave a comment with the name of your favorite Spider-Man villain from the comics before 12:01AM EST on Saturday, January 16 2010. (I know, someone’s just itching to write in “Joe Quesada” and ha-ha, we get it, but that person will be disqualified and their entry sent into the darkest pits of internet hell. In other words, they’ll show up on Perez Hilton’s site.) As before, I’ll randomly pick a winner using the Random.org number generator again and that’s it.
Terms And Conditions
Please note that because of shipping costs, this contest is for residents of the United States of America only. You must leave your email address with your comment to qualify, as I’m not going to spend any time hunting down someone who didn’t want to be contacted about their amazing prize. One comment per person and yes, I will know if you cheat and yes, I know they might undo the whole Peter-and-MJ-not-being-married shebang soon.

unfortunately Video-Man never made it into the comics, so I have to go with my second fave: THE SPOT (and oooh i’m so not kidding)
I can’t enter cuz I’m in the UK, I just felt like pointing out that Video-Man is in at least one comic I can think of offhand. So prolly more.
best villain is Hammerhead, he has the power to headbutt things!
I say you can’t get any slicker than the Slyde, but since many of my favorite childhood books involve him (marvel 2-in-one, fantastic four, the marvel tales reprints of the early ASM) I gotta say the Sandman.
J. Jonah Jameson. No one else has made Spidey’s life as miserable and highlights Peter’s dual life so well.
I always love it when The Lizard shows up.
I love the Vulture. The original old cranky ass Vulture.
Did he ever go up against Turner D. Century?
kraven the hunter is the shit.
Not a groundbreaking response, but I think I’m going to go with Doctor Octopus — even over the Green Goblin. There’s just something about that six-armed, eight-limbed maniac that really works for me.
Favorite villain of Spidey’s? Gotta go with the Green Goblin.
Morbius the Goddamn Living Vampire. Because when I was like 4, that story where Spidey had six arms freaked the HELL out of me!
Or the Bend Sinister from that annual. Which I’d completely forgotten about until right now.
I would have to go with Venom.Everbody loves symbiotes.
Rocket Racer. Seriously. There’s a hilarious RR issue in Peter Parker, Spider-Man that Zeb Wells wrote pre-BND which is classic, and one of the first comics I ever owened. (“Does your suit have nipples man?”)
Also, Rocket Racer in M.O.D.O.K.’s 11 is great too.
I gotta go with the new, faceless adaptation of Chameleon. I thought he came off as funny, calculating, dark and just the right amount of creepy.
I’d have to go with Kraven the Hunter for having the decency to stay dead, having accomplished what he set out to do.
Miles Warren, aka The Jackal (and all his myriad clones). Oh yeah, I went there – Clone Saga FTW!
The Scorpion.
Primarily from viewing “Spider-
Man & Friends” and the ’60s cartoons at an impressionable age.
Green Goblin. Gotta go with a classic.
Pick just one? Hmm, I guess I’ll have to go with the Green Goblin if I have to pick just ONE. Kraven and the Lizard are up there…also Electro…ok, I’m stopping now.
I have to say, I’m partial to the SPOT myself.
The Sandman. Is he still a villain these days? He was at one point.
I’m going to have to go with Doc Ock, green jumpsuit, Moe haircut an all. He just seems the quintessential Spider-Man villain to me.
Doctor Octopus. Those two pages in ASM #600 showing his poor skull get smacked around just killed me.
One could argue that the biggest enemy to Peter is himself. After all, he’s dated a supermodel, has super-powers, a wonderful aunt who loves him like a son, great friends, and a gift for science and photojournalism…
…and he’s a bum. He’s let his friends, girlfriends, and family down; he’s considered a villain by law enforcement (not entirely his fault, but still), and he hasn’t used his gifts to create a career for himself.
But to play along…man, I love the Vulture. Old man strapping on a green feathered power suit and stealing just about anything he wants. When I was a kid, I always wanted to fly like him. And he looks like he’s about 100, and still is amazing! He’s your crotchety grand-dad, complaining about how you slack about with your Internet and iPods and whatnot. Why, in his day, he walked 20 miles to school! In the snow! And when he decided he didn’t want to walk to school anymore, he didn’t whine to a school board about how unfair it was that the bus didn’t stop at his house. He made himself a FLYING SUIT out of MAGNETS and GREEN FEATHERS!
(First song on the Vulture playlist- Weezer’s “The Good Life”.)
Peter’s Enemies, Meta Edition
Option 1: The Parker Luck. There is nothing that so consistently stands in Peter’s way than the very universe itself knocking him over and kicking him while he’s down. The fact that Peter gets it together and somehow manages to win in spite of all this adversity is part of what makes the comic great.
Option 2: The Parker Wang. The Brand New Day run focuses especially on this issue. Little Peter, or that which supporting characters BELIEVE to be little Peter, has been the source of so very much heartbreak, confusion, and wacky sitcom-esque shenanigans.
Option 3: TIME ITSELF. Spidey’s been around for quite a while, and, after more than half a century of monthly-or-more comics stories, the rules of narrative escalation alone require placing Peter into some fairly absurd situations.
Corollary: this is why watching Spider-man lift something heavy is one of the great pleasures in mainstream superhero comics. He’s strong, sure, but when he holds up A BUILDING, it’s really an instantiation of railing against fate, taking on the impossible, AND WINNING.
The Lizard.
Reptile in lab coat FTW!
(I live in England, but my parents live in the USA. They’d happily take delivery of the prize for me!)
Tough call. I gotta go with the Vulture, or as someone above described him, “old, cranky-ass Vulture.” Spidey’s the only hero in comics who has an arch-enemy who’s basically one of those “get off my lawn, ya hippie” old cranks.
Harry Osborn as the Green Goblin.
I’m going to second the Spot. Fun costume; great visual for the power.
I friggin’ love Mysterio. No cooler costume in comics.
JJJ’s costume gives him a slight edge, however. Retract previous statement, replace with this one.
J. Jonah Jameson.
While I concur with many of the above, I’ve always been partial to Stilt-Man. It’s just such a bizarre concept.
Man-Wolf.
Kraven the Hunter, with his affinity for fur, African potions, crazy spider eating and suicide is pretty much un-fuck-withable.
This may be the only incentive I’d have for getting around to reading what have been well-reviewed stories that I’ve otherwise avoided.
Toss me in the Randomizer, chum.
I’d have to go with Spencer Smythe. I always liked the Spider Slayers, especially from the 60s cartoon. A very close second would be Electro.
Damn it, Kev, I forgot to mention THE CHAMELEON. I’ve never understood how someone who can look like anyone hasn’t caused more serious damage in Spidey’s world.
Ignore my previous, non-villainous comment. DOH.
Mysterio. Just love that guy’s look.
Doc Ock.
Hmmm . . . now that I think about it, there aren’t too many Spidey villains I outright love. Two that spring to mind are Rhino and Chameleon (mostly because I loved Flowers for Rhino and the Chameleon story where he threw himself off the Brooklyn Bridge when I got back into comics), but I think I’m going to go with The Living Brain from ASM #8, which was the first Spidey story i ever read (a reprint of course – I’m only 26)
I have a soft spot for the never-heard-from-again villain-of-the-week guys from the ’70s or early ’80s, like Fusion and the Schizoid man, and I really liked the issue in which Spidey fought The Ringer.
Stegron is pretty rad, and I like the Molten Man and Mysterio.
But I gotta go with Doc Ock.
Oh man, I used to love Mysterio — he was so over the top that it was perfect. But d’you know who else I used to dig? The Prowler. I know he was only a villain for like an issue, but still.
For my serious pick, I’m going to go with Doc Ock. A fellow scientific genius with animalistic powers that allow him to counter Spidey’s strength, webbing, and ability to walk up walls.
Assuming that friends of the author are not allowed to participate, I’ll say this on behalf of Sims: “SWARM! Because he’s a Nazi made of bees, that’s why!”
Hate to say it, but my first true Spidey love was the Clone Saga. JACKAL.
I was always partial to Jack O’Lantern’s costume but I’ll have to give more props to Mysterio overall.
I have to go with the Spot
Fancy Dan — member of the Enforcers, master of Judo! (What the heck is this dude doing fighting Spider-Man???)
He’s not technically a villain, although he acts like one in my estimation. The Punisher.
I would have to go with Norman Osborn. I mean Norm, not only has plagued Spidey as the Green Goblin for YEARS, but is now the head of H.A.M.M.E.R. and wreaking havoc all over the web head’s life.
He’s considered more of an X-men villian, but I first saw Arcade in the pages of ASM. Murder World FTW!
The Enforcers are far and away my favorite Spidey villains.
I’ll go with the Rose. Back when he was all mysterious and cool and such, he was a great villain. A wonderful foil for both Spider-Man and the Hobgoblin. The DeFalco/Frenz run that led up to the giant gang war in the mid-late eighties was my favorite Spidey run ever.
And yes, I was in about twelve years old then, why do you ask?
Kraven The Hunter is my choice.
Mysterio he,s awsome if any body read old man logan then mysterio took down wolverine!! He’s a great spidey villan!!
Gotta be Mysterio. No other Spidey villain has such a crazy and striking costume.
Juggernaut. My favorite Spidey story is still his first face-off against Juggy, back around ASM 231-232. Roger Stern, JR JR… great comics.
Kraven the Hunter. Really, a perfect villian. Understandable intentions and his own moral code.
Mysterio. Crazy-ass Ditko-tastic goodness.
my favorite spider man villain is kaine. because he was actually peter parker’s clone!!! that’s crazy!!!! right?
I vote for Razorback and his mutant vehicle-driving powers.
I always liked Mysterio.
I would have to go with Rhino. I am not sure why but I have always liked him as a villain.
MYSTERIO.
I remember when Carnage first appeared and thought… no way is Spidey going to be able to go toe-to-toe with this guy!
I really dig 60′s Romita-era The Lizard,
I’d go with Kraven the Hunter as well.
Kraven the Hunter.
I’m going to go with Arcade. His appearance in the two-part MTU with Captain Britain was one of my favorite stories as a kid.
The Vulture is my favorite, and I’m not entirely sure why. I love the ones who never get much love, and I like that he’s just some old duffer who can fly. Age is not a handicap for the Vulture.
He’s the Abe Vigoda of bad guys– totally not A-List, but when he shows up, it’s always a good time. (What? Abe Vigoda is awesome.)
Gotta go with good ol’ Doctor Octopus.
Paste Pot Pete a.k.a. The Trapster
I’ve gotta go with Sandman. Not sure why, just always liked the idea of a guy with that much power but never any imaginative uses for it.
Gog. Weird, I know, but Marvel Tales #77 was one of the first comic books I ever read, and he’s kinda stuck with me.
Sandman!
Kraven
Put another one down for Kraven.
I’m going to go with Rocket Racer, even though he became a good guy later; mostly because his first appearance was my first Spider-Man.
Favorite enemy? Going classic/oldschool/boring with Green Goblin. That’s just the way it is.
Jason Macendale Hobgoblin.
Norman Osborn
The Shocker. Dude wears a quilt and fights Spider-Man.
Here him roar, for he is The Lizard!
I always liked the Scorpion. Then he became Venom. So now I guess I like Venom, which is funny, because I always hated Venom before. Hm.
Kraven!
I very fondly remember Arcade tormenting Spidey and Captain Britain in some Marvel Team-Up.
That’s my choice!
Although I’m tempted to say White Rabbit . . .
Spider Slayers. I loved how sweet the robot designs were when they showed up in the mid-90′s.
Morbius The Living Vampire
Mysterio. Fo’ sho.
I’m always a sucker for the armor based foes, so I’d have to go for the Beetle.
Legal Eagle (Ralph G. Fake)!
Oooh, and the giveaways on my birthday! I gotta win, right?!
I’ve always liked Electro, both for his powers and for his awesome Ditko design, specifically the hat/helmet/lightning thing. I was pretty disappointed to discover that he seemed to have abandoned it in his latest appearance.
My favorite villain? Hmm. I’ve always had a soft spot for Mysterio.
I’m gonna have to go with J. Jonah Jameson. The man is always finding a way to destroy the wall-crawler. And he smokes cigars.
The Scorpion…he was featured in the first comic that really got me hooked: Amazing Annual #18.
Mysterio – not because he’s a good villain, but because he was the villain in the Spider-Man comics my dad gave me when I was a little kid. (which helped hook me on comics)
Tombstone. I mean, fat, green-bellied, bowl cut Doc Ock is my first thought, and the Kraven’s Last Hunt storyline is one of the three stories that drug me into comic books to begin with(& the black costume), but my favorite on just a straight up personal level is Tombstone. The villain in the first comic book of my regular readership, I collected everything related to his story arc for years later, and it always held a soft spot. Tombstone as an old bully of the great Robbie Robertson, and Robbie’s determination, and eventual success, overcoming the intimidation from his longtime tormentor just completely resonated with a nerd like me, and seems very much in tune with the Spiderman theme. Thinking about it now, that story probably impacted my life more than I realized. In hindsight, it’s pretty impressive how it doesn’t gloss over that overcoming obstacles like that as we grow makes us who we are, but yet, may still haunt us.
Not entering, but that Mary Jane cover on the lower right still looks like it was drawn by Tom of Finland.
The Lizard
Anyone who doesn’t say Fancy Dan is just lyin’ to their own self.
Doctor Octopus.
He’s narrowly edged out the others to be my favorite since the great Spider-Man GN Parallel Lives. While I do enjoy Norman Osborne’s overall craziness and nigh-on Wagnerian revenge kicks, Doc Ock is sort of the warped mirror reflection of Peter Parker. He’s the brilliant, nerdy scientist whose awkwardness got made worse instead of better by a scientific accident gone awry that gave him powers (unlike the decent family man Dr. Curt Connors, say). His love of Aunt May for showing him basic, human decency just kind of breaks your heart. And of course, there’s fact that he never stops showing off that “They called me MAD at the University!” sort of Classic Mad Scientist Supervillainy you see all too rarely nowadays. He’s corny, sure, but still my favorite.
Electro. You’ve got to feel for a guy who gets electric powers and then ends up fighting a genius hero who will always know more about electricity than the electrically-powered villain.
Here’s a Kurt Busiek classic: Bloodshed. Not a great villain (I think he’s only ever appeared 2-3 times), but I judge my Spidey villains based on the quality of Spidey’s retorts. “What, was Love Shack taken?” Timeless… Timeless…
Kingpin!
The Rhino. While I intellectually agree with the notion that Spider-Man has a great Rogue’s gallery, the Rhino is the only one I actually like, and don’t see a downside to. Plus, I loved when he fought Ka-Zar in the Ka-Zar solo series of the mid nineties.
I have to go with old Doc Ock, mostly for his first appearance. He’s been in great stories outside of that as well, but the pudgy guy in the bowl cut? He SCHOOLED Spider-man, and he is still a very nasty enemy to fight. Hell, he’s one of the few where I think he could take on other people at Spider-Man’s level with a fair chance of success. He’s also got a pretty classic design that still works well in the modern world.
I don’t know if you can consider him a villain, but the greatest antagonist of Spidey’s entire career is clearly J. JONAH JAMESON.
I’ve always loved the Green Goblin
I’ve always had a soft spot for the Lizard. Good ol’ Doc Connors.
I’m one for the classics, so will go with Scorpion for all kinds of reasons:
– Origin: love how JJJ was involved
– Best eps from the 60′s Spider-Man cartoons were with the Scorpion
– Always felt they were pretty closely matched in terms of speed and strength
– Probably the best-designed of the Spidey foes
I’m going with Morbius.
Doc Ock. Love the arms and how he’s a physical and mental threat to Spidey. Also, he’s always been done right by any film/tv adaptations.
Doc Ock, the original one. Best hair cut, dark glasses combo in art history.
Paper Doll — I lust loved her debut in those Waid/Martin issues!
Lady Octopus. Spidey doesn’t have near enough women foes. And how can you not love a lady with tentacles?!
Scorpion, in his pre-Venom days… thsoe were good times.
I know it’s hack and probably been said already, but I’m going to go with Mysterio. He’s always had a flair for the theatrical that I’ve liked. Unfortunately, his costume means that in the modern age, he’s not taken seriously.
swarm is the perfect comic villian. nazi killer bees? yes please!
The easiest choice is still the best choice: Norman Osborn Green Goblin, hands down. The greatest villian from a great rogues gallery. Thanks!
Based on cheesy childhood nostalgia alone I’m going to go with Boomerang. Not so much because of the comics he’s appeared in (I don’t believe I’ve read any) but because I remember really loving his costume. “Hey what are those things on his ch– OH I GET IT HIS NAME IS BOOMERANG.”
His own inability to take excellent photographs. Seriously, Pete, would it kill ya to take a few photography courses and really hone your art?
Also: Galactus.
Firelord. The issue from the 80s where Spidey beats the holey crap out of a herald of Galactus while the Avengers show up at the last minute to ‘help’.
Swarm. Then Spot.
There are no other Spider-villains to me.
I’d have to give it to the Molten Man.
I’m a fan of the Chamelon in recent appearances and like the Doc Doom stuff too.
The Hypno Hustler, because Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #24 is the greatest comic of all time.
Carrion, the original from Spectacular Spider-Man in the seventies. While his powers and origins are pretty ridiculous when you look at ‘em now (a plague that attaches to your DNA and gives you telepathy, among other things? Huh?), they were wildly entertaining and mysterious and creepy to 10 year old me.
I’m going to go with the huge pile of debris from Amazing Spider-man #33. It really brought out the best in ol’ webhead.
Between the Parker luck and his overwhelming guilt, Spidey is his own worst enemy.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the White Rabbit.
Green Goblin. Classic, crazy, pre-90′s Norman Osborn. Craziest mo’fo in comics.
Electro!
Nah, it’s really Green Goblin – but I loved Electro’s costume back in the olde days…
My gut says “Cupid,” since love has caused PP more problems than anything else.
But I’ll also say Green Goblin.
130 comments and no love for Hydro-Man? OK, Hydro-Man.
The very first Spidey comic I read featured Doc Ock, and he has consequently always been my favorite villain. Spidey also seems to reach a more sophisticated level of banter in his engagements with Doc Ock than with the rest of his rogues’ gallery. It’s all about the Spidey-Snark for me.
Electro, when done right (so never)
Definately Venom.
Oh yeah, Venom for the WIN. Plus he finally turned around and became a very creepy-looking good guy. Gotta love that.
Doctor Octopus. To me, he’s THE Spider-Man villain. He was the first supervillain to kill one of Peter’s loved ones (George Stacy). While Norman took 20 years off for death, Otto just kept chugging along, getting himself into Secret Wars and becoming such a high water mark in terms of Spidey villains that he’s the only one Kaine could kill to really establish his rep. He’s the villain behind the Master Planner storyline, still considered by many to be the best Spider-Man story ever. He was the villain behind the Ultimate Clone Saga, the best Ultimate Spider-Man story ever. He was the villain in the best Spider-Man movie.
And he almost married Aunt May. His resume speaks for itself.
Have to say Doctor Octopus. Anyone that can be that menacing with a bowl-cut and blu-blockers is pretty damn great.
I LOVE The Lizard.
It’s gotta be the Lizard!
I’m gonna have to go with Normal Osborn cause he’s gotten so powerful in the Marvel Universe and I’m not reading too many new comics, but I love most of this Dark Reign stuff I have read and maybe because Warren Ellis loves to write about how he wrote Osborn’s nude soliloquies in Thunderbolts.
I’ve got to go with Shocker, though I don’t know if he’s ever been in a decent story. Something about that costume is just really cool to me, and I really wanted his action figure from the animated series toy line when I was a kid.
I always dug Mysterio.
Tinkerer.
(I know, I know. But it is.)
(Evil Spider-Mobile? Him. Weaponeer for Big Wheel, Rocket Red & Grizzley. All-him.)
Scorpion
Mysterio
all hail crystal ball heads
not a true villain, but J Jonah Jameson will be always be Spidey’s best adversary.
He’s been an antagonist often enough, and a real villain from time to time, so I think I can vote for Harry Osborn.
I’m gonna go with Stegron. One of the first ones I was familiar with.
My favorite of the newer crop is Paper Doll, but classic villains? Have to give that one to the Rhino.
Definitely Mysterio. It’s the showmanship! He’s unashamedly over-the-top and I love it.
I like Rhino, especially as portrayed in that Flowers for Algernon story from Tangled Web.
Electro. For the simple reason that the Electro shirts his fans wore in the recent arc where he was a populist hero were awesome shirts. And I want one.
My fave Spidey villain is Rhino, because, come on, Flowers for Rhino.
I’d have to go with The Black Fox. I like jewel thief old geezers, what can I say?
I always liked The Punisher stories, because he & Spidey always seemed like the different sides of the same coin.
For nostalgic reasons, Kraven the Hunter.
Vulture.
Hmmm…as much as I hate Norman Osborn, nobody f’ed with Spider-Man’s (and Peter Parker’s) life more so and worse than him. You wouldn’t even have to necessarily include Osborn as the Green Goblin if you want to look at various significant instances of Peter having his mind screwed with. But, alas, the two are inseparable, and thus, Osborn/Green Goblin has to be the ultimate Spider-Man villain. So, setting aside personal bias, he was/is the best of the worst, which makes him the best and/or favorite villain.
I’ve always loved Norman Osborn, aka the original Green Goblin!
when i was but a lad, the answer would have been Venom, but now i have come to appreciate Mysterio, what with the showmanship and all.
I’m going with Doctor Octopus.
I’m going to have to go with Doctor Octopus. Not so much for anything spectacular other than his prominence in an old Spidey coloring book I had as a kid. Nostalgia!
Got to go for Doctor Octopus for his arch-villain status. Though if I were going on awesome, Slyde wins. Frictionless suit? Hilarity abounds.
I gotta be old school and say Green Goblin. However, my first Spiderman comic had a fight with the Kingpin so that’s always stuck in my mind also. Thanks!
J. Jonah Jameson: The one “villian” who hounds both Peter Parker AND Spiderman, and NEITHER of these personas can really do anything to stop him.
The Lizard all the way.
Rocket Racer. Probably featured in the first Spidey I ever read, or something.
I’m going to go with the villain from the first issue of Spidey I remember buying off a newstand…THE PUMA, in #257. Not exactly A-list, but he’s the sentimental favorite for me.
The only reason I remember this is because it’s the issue where MJ tells Peter she knows he’s Spider-Man, and that so totally blew my ten year old mind.
Mysterio. No wait- Dr Octopus. Hang on- Mysterio. Yeah, Mysterio.
Green Goblin followed by Mysterio.
Thanks for your generosity
The Hobgoblin, because he was the first
Spidey villain I knew and I’m a big softie.
I’ve got to go with The Spot. What’s not to love?
Electro, because Ditko drawing him getting the crap punched out of him in ASM Annual #1 was awesome before I could even read.
I know a few dozen have said this already, but I have to agree that the Green Goblin is best! Of course, I liked him better when he was more of a Spider-Man baddie and less of an… everyone baddie. Hate it when bad guys get taken away from their original hero!
If I were to be snarky, I would write Rocket Racer or Hypno-Hustler, but in actuality my childhood comes flashing back every time I see The Sinister Six (are groups allowed?!) & think of those wonderful Ditko full-page splashes.
(& may I ask, maybe next time you have such great books weighing down your shelves, you let me know- I’m a schoolteacher who is trying to amass a graphic novel library in my classroom totally with my own funds.)
Thanks for this great opportunity. It is very much appreciated!
I’ve been digging BRAND NEW DAY an awful lot myself. Gotta say, Max Dillon, Otto and Curt go a loooong way in my book, but most days, hands down, it’s gotta be the Shocker.
Dunno why, but the Shocker is it…
And Russell has the last entry! I’ll announce a winner on Monday along with another contest!
