There are very few Marvel comics that I actively want to write. The Invaders is one of them. Seriously, I could write dudes beating the shit out of Nazis all goddamn day long.
Only slightly apropos… twenty years ago, when Claremont/Davis had Excalibur encounter a Nazi-controlled Other-Earth, I really wanted Marvel to write a new Invaders series, where the Invaders had to “invade” other dimensions to liberate them from Nazi-world attack. Since then, I guess the Exiles people had some similar ideas, so I guess only mutants can become dimension-hopping hero liberators.
