Let me just say I miss your blogging and wish you'd do more of it. You're still high on my blogroll, after all, but every day when I check in and there are no new updates I am left with just a frowny face.

Was this pure conjecture, or has he talked about this in the past?

The former, I believe. I don't ever recall reading him discussing it before I wrote that, but you know. Memory like a sieve.

I just got past the part where he goes into detail about his experiences in India, and this was all I could think of:

Not sure about a bio, but 500 pages of Morrison and Chris Sims discussing Kirby's comics, followed by 500 pages of Morrison and Steve Bissette talking about Kirby's treatment by Marvel, and we're talking a book.

I'm in the middle of the book. I would read a 1000-page Morrison bio of Jack Kirby tomorrow.

Who, exactly, is a sole questioner at ComicCon supposed to be convincing to take her seriously by avoiding costume and stating her full name? Dan Didio? I have a hard time believing that he gives a rat's ass about what anyone at ComicCon says to him, regardless of how they're dressed and whether or not they fully identify themselves. The other people in the audience? At ComicCon, costumes are considered pretty normal, and I don't think it's expected for people to precede their questions by stating their names. Or are you talking about the larger community of superhero comic fans? I suppose they certainly wouldn't dream of taking someone seriously if they wore a costume and went by an alias... wait, no, that's pretty much the opposite of true. In fact, if someone wanted to get the larger community of superhero fans talking about the question of gender representation in the comic book industry than ASKING DAN DIDIO A QUESTION WHILE DRESSED AS BATGIRL.
