So, before Birdie and I started The Rack and while we were still doing BOOM!’s promotional strip Nitroglycerin, we came up with a publisher name (Agreeable Comics) and a few ideas for comic strips. One of them, “Der Faust,” was a one-note strip that I loved the hell out of writing: it’s about a guy who punches things with his giant fists. That’s it. For round eleven of the ultimate comics battle royale, I thought we’d revisit one of the adventures that was printed in the Agreeable Comics minicomic I handed out at SDCC 2006. Enjoy this one-page look at Der Faust. Maybe someday, we’ll get back to him.
