I like it better than the actual trailer; it even makes me wanna see the movie.

Twenty years from now, SPEED RACER will be revered in ways that we can only dream of today.

I’m not saying it’s good, mind you. It is exactly what it is.

For what it is, it’s not only good, it’s close to flawless.

I find myself wanting to watch it again just to spend more time in that world.

I don’t care what anybody says, that movie was a lot of fun.

Thanks to you and Chris Sims, I rented this tonight. And it was glorious.

All those friends of mine who wouldn’t see it in the theatre with me are fools.

I loved Speed Racer. I think it’s the most unfairly panned movie in a long, long time.

It’s a shame that the collective buyer’s remorse from The Matrix Trilogy prevented so many from enjoying this movie. It put a smile on my face and a spring in my step, and while it held no real surprises, it got the job done, which is more than I can say for the Wachowski’s previous three films.

You think that was it? Because- that has some validity, but then V FOR VENDETTA did okay with critics and audiences (for varying definitions of “okay”, it wasn’t a big hit but it wasn’t considered a flop.) Granted, they didn’t direct that one.

It may just have been too outrageous to truly be a big hit, but I still don’t think I can understand the critical hostility. Then again, THE WIZARD OF OZ took a while to be appreciated.
