   What might the meaning of megrita be? Google says “Mi Megrita Linda” is a song title, but that doesn’t really answer the question. A slangy diminutive of “imigrante”, maybe? Do tell.

   That should be ‘Negrita’. I don’t know if Mr. Church knew it and was afraid to offend, or misheard someone else’s spanish. Literal translation- ‘My pretty little black’. Actual meaning- ‘My pretty little brunette’.

   It should be “negrita.” There was likely a typo somewhere.
