Me, I had no idea that P’Gell was so closely aligned with Ann Coulter’s viewpoints.

Ebony: What about women’s lib?
P’Gell: It’s a dirty, subversive, left-wing ideology. If the women of the world aren’t careful, this could erode their domination over men. Only weaklings need women’s lib.
Nah, P’Gell isn’t Ann Coulter at all. She had a rough life and learned that the only way to survive (especially during the Depression and during the War, and even after) was to get what she could and get out alive. And, if using men was the best way, so be it. (After all, they own most everything now, and certainly did then.)
With “Feminism” P’Gell might have been a girl working in an office, as a secretary or an “Assistant” instead she runs her life her way, and uses men to finance her lifestyle. More power to her!!
P’Gell knew, even back then, that as women we will NEVER be let into the Boy’s Club, (no matter how many hours we “work”) so get what you can while you still have your looks, get as much from them in bed and out of it, and leave them thinking it was their idea.
All “feminism” has brought us is stressful full time jobs on top of child care, housework, cooking, cleaning etc. WE do so much more, and the men do no more, in ANY sphere than they did 50 years ago, but they only have to put in less worktime and now only 50% or less of the income, instead of ALL of it. That is NOT the deal we thought we were getting. But, P’Gell saw it years ahead of time.
“feminism” has made if harder for those of us who live the High Maintainence Lifestyle to do our thing. There’s still a way, but working 40 hour weeks at a senseless “job” and then spending the rest of our (increasing) waking hours cleaning and cooking and taking care of him and the kids ISN’T what we were promised by Feminism, but it’s what we were given, whether we wanted it or not.
P’Gell (fictional as she is) had it the right way. There’s still a way to live the Lifestyle, but a Lady has to be even smarter, and more careful than every before.

All we need is a good red dress, fire engine red lipstick, some heels, stockings, the ability to know what he’s thinking (THAT isn’t hard at all) and how to play it, and the know how to make HIM think it was all his idea….
