With pages as glorious as this, I wonder why. What a great comic, even if it’s completely non-continuity
1. Bullseye is killed by The Hand so he can come back as a super zombie assassin and murder a recently-revived Elektra? Sold! Miller and Varley pulled out all the stops with this and part of me wants to say I prefer this over anything else they’ve done together shy of
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which had Klaus Janson’s nigh-perfect inking holding down the fort.
1I go with the “fever dream” theory that’s been presented by some people in the past, but that’s probably just so I can comfortably have it in the little Marvel Universe in my head.
