Oh hey, there’s some crazy good deals on Amazon MP3 Today.

- Jay Z’s Vol. 3… Life And Times Of S. Carter is $.99. For the price of “Big Pimpin,” you can have the whole album!
- Justice’s debut album with the name that is a symbol, but I still refuse to call “Cross” for some reason is $5, which is less than a used copy will run you. NOTE: Just after I wrote this, the album became unavailable in full at that price. Check back later today!
- The new Sigur Ros album, Med sud I eyrum vid spilum endalaust is also $5. If it’s rainy and melancholy where you are today, this would be a nice choice.

How do you find these? I got the Led Zeppelin album for 2 bucks (because how could I not?) and want to know how I can get more.
Also, why is Amazon just GIVING away albums like this?
I’m just that damn good. (Or, there’s a link on the Amazon MP3 Downloads page for the deal of the day.)
Most of the time, they’re catalog titles that aren’t generating much revenue. Joe Amazon probably rings up the label and says “C’mon, how’d you like to make $1000 off an old Jay-Z album in one day?” Bing bang boom, money for everyone! I also have ended up buying multiple things that weren’t on sale because of these discounts, so there’s that.
*Sigh* I’m glad I paid full price for the Sigur Ros album a while back.
I like to call it “the cross album”
