    What I love about Ace (and Gold Key) covers: they’re so clearly photo-referenced, it’s impossible to not imagine a guy standing around in some custom made outfit, with prop space-radio control transmitter doo-hickey and hawk headgear. The little details are just way too “real” to have been added later.

    I have that one. The other side of the double is “And Then the Town Took Off” by Richard Wilson. Which means it wins the award for Silliest Ace Double hands-down.
