The new ‘no ads, no subs’ option for Spotify had an unanticipated downside.

What I love about Ace (and Gold Key) covers: they’re so clearly photo-referenced, it’s impossible to not imagine a guy standing around in some custom made outfit, with prop space-radio control transmitter doo-hickey and hawk headgear. The little details are just way too “real” to have been added later.
